A Time for Strength

To read the Bible in a year, read Second Chronicles 23–25.
There is a time for weakness and a time for strength. When it is time for strength, be sure to take advantage of it. Second Chronicles says, “In the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and made a covenant with the captains of hundreds: Azariah the son of Jeroham, Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, Azariah the son of Obed, Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri. And they went throughout Judah and gathered the Levites from all the cities of Judah, and the chief fathers of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem” (2Chronicles 23:1, 2). What Jehoiada did was make Joash king and killed Athaliah, who had made herself queen by killing her grandsons. Jehoiada saw what needed to be done and when he was capable, he did it. The door of opportunity opened and he walked in.
Be ready. Doors of opportunity shall open to you. When that happens, go in and do what you need to do.
