The Lord Has Need of It

To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 19:29-48. The time of the death of Jesus approached. As He drew near to the surroundings of Jerusalem (Luke 19:29), He sent two of His disciples and listen to what He said, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here. And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it?’ thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of it'” (vv. 30, 31). When the owner would hear that the Lord needed the colt, that would end the matter and the colt would give it up.
What does the Lord need of mine? Am I willing to give it up? It is easy to give up to Him whatever He needs when I first give myself to Him.
