Run to See Jesus

To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 19:1-28.
Regardless of who you are and what others think of you, do everything you can to see Jesus. That is what a man did named Zacchaeus. Jesus traveled by Jericho (Luke 19:1) and there was a chief tax collector there who was rich, but he was also short (vv. 2, 3). Since he could not see over the people, Zacchaeus ran ahead and climbed a tree that he might get a glimpse of the Son of God (v. 4). Jesus noticed people like that. The Bible says, “And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, ‘Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house'” (v. 5). Can you imagine that happening to you! What do you think Zacchaeus did? Watch, “So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully” (v. 6).
Are you willing to do anything to see and to be with the Son of God? Where will you be the next time the church meets to worship Him?
