Anywhere Was a Pulpit

To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 5.1-16.
Jesus did not need a pulpit from which to preach and to teach. On one occasion, He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret (The Sea of Galilee), but the people pressed about Him, making it difficult to speak (Luke 5:1). He saw some boats that fisherman had left on the shore, because they were washing their nets (v. 2). “Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat” (v. 3). He could teach the people comfortably and everyone could hear. He did not leave heaven to be crushed by crowds, but to teach the crowds. He did not have to wait until the next Sabbath to teach in the synagogue, but He used every opportunity to teach.
Remember you are a disciple of Christ and you also will want to teach, even the smallest amount of instruction, at any opportunity.
