Give God Perfect Gifts

To read the Bible in a year, read Deuteronomy 17-19.
Think on this. Moses commanded Israel, “You shall not sacrifice to the LORD your God a bull or sheep which has any blemish or defect, for that is an abomination to the LORD your God” (Deuteronomy 17:1). Remember what the Lord God had done for Israel, delivering them from Egyptian bondage and sustaining them in the wilderness, both events through marvelous works. How then could an Israelite offer to God a defective gift?
Friends, the Bible says that the same God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, has given us every perfect gift through every perfect act of giving (James 1:17). How then can we offer to Him defective gifts?
Think today on all that He has done for you and what you have offered Him in return.
