The Lord Has Need of It

To read the Bible in a year, read Mark 11:1-19.
Jesus sent two of His disciples into a village and they would find a colt. He told them to take the colt and bring it to Him (Mark 11:1, 2). Then He said this, “And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here” (v. 3). Wow! The unknown owner of the colt would immediately let them have the colt when he learned that it was for the Lord.
I want the spirit of the owner of the colt. I am too attached to my stuff. It is mine. I want it. I will do what I can to keep it.
Hello, Don, the Lord gave you all that you have. Sometimes He needs or wants your stuff. Give it to Him. He can replace it, and even if He decides not to replace it, you have not lost, but have gained, for He who gives to the Lord will always come out ahead.
