Bearing the Sins of Others

To read the Bible in a year, read Numbers 18-20.
The Lord laid a heavy burden upon Aaron and his sons, “Then the LORD said to Aaron: ‘You and your sons and your father’s house with you shall bear the iniquity related to the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you shall bear the iniquity associated with your priesthood'” (Numbers 18:1). Aaron had to deal with his own sins, but he also had to deal with the sins of Israel. Great was the responsibility of that man and his descendants.
Yet, years later another High Priest arose, who did not need to bear His own sins, but He bore the sins of more than Israel, for He bore the sins of the world. Greater still was His burden and responsibility. Now, you can run to the Father above and find forgiveness for your sins.
