Why Do You Criticize?

To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 12.22-50.
Some people criticize something the moment they hear about it. They imitate the Pharisees, the enemies of Jesus Christ, when they so act. Jesus had healed a demon-possessed man, enabling him to speak and to see (Matthew 12.22). The people were amazed and wondered, “Could this be the Son of David?” (v. 23). The first thing the Pharisees did when they heard the reaction of the people was to criticize and they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons” (v. 24). The Pharisees could not rejoice that a man could speak and see again, but the first thing to come into their minds was to find something wrong.
Are you like that? If so, see who are your spiritual brothers and change quickly.
