The Victorious Lamb

To read the Bible in a year, read Revelation.
What a contrast between Revelation 13 and Revelation 14! In the former chapter, we saw a terrible beast, but in the latter chapter, John begins, “Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads” (Revelation 14:1). I wonder, in a contest between a beast that is like a lion, a bear, and a leopard versus a lamb, which one would win? Normally, I would say the beast. Not in this case, though. This is the Lamb of God and He prevails over all and so do those who are with Him. That is the picture of Revelation 14. Do you follow the Lamb of God wherever He leads you? If you do, you are on the winning side!
