Strengthen the Things You Have

To read the Bible in a year, read Revelation 3.
Jesus told the church in Sardis that although they had a reputation for being an alive church, He knew that they were dead. So, He told them to make things right, “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God” (Revelation 3:2). They had some good points and they needed to strengthen those things to keep them from dying too.
He also told them, “Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent…” (Revelation 3:3). They could fix the problem by remembering the days of their conversion, holding on to that zeal and repenting of their dead faith.
Do not let your good things die off, but keep at it, making the strong things stay strong and then you can build up your weak points.
