Do Not Fear the Book of Revelation

To read the Bible in a year, read Revelation 1.
Do you do your best to follow the Lord Jesus Christ faithfully? If so, you have nothing to fear from reading the Book of Revelation. For one thing, God wants His servants to know some things. Therefore, the Book of Revelation begins, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants–things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw” (Revelation 1:1, 2). God has no desire to frighten His servants, but only to show them things He wants them (us) to know.
For another thing, He pronounced a blessing through John to us when we read, hear, and do what the Book of Revelation says, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near” (Revelation 1:3).
So then, start reading the Book of Revelation as a letter from a Father who loves you very much.
