Continue to Read

Read the Bible in a year by reading Second Peter 3 today.
Continue to read the entire Bible, both the Old and New Testaments. Peter said, “Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior…” (2Peter 3:1, 2).
Peter wrote, reminding them (and us) of things he had already told them. Moreover, he urged them to remember the words of the holy prophets and other apostles of Christ. If you neglect to read a certain part of the Bible, I can guarantee that you will miss somethings vital for your success as a Christian.
Are you as strong a Christian as you would like to be or especially as God wants you to be? I think I know the answer. Well, the Holy Spirit moved Peter to write the words above, prodding us as cattle to move into parts of Scripture where we might not want to go. Cooperate and you will be glad you did.
