What God Considers Unfaithfulness

Read the Bible in a year by reading Ezekiel 20 and 21 today.
In Ezekiel 20:27, God told Ezekiel how unfaithfulness on the part of His people affects Him, “Therefore, son of man, speak to the house of Israel, and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “In this too your fathers have blasphemed Me, by being unfaithful to Me”‘” (Ezekiel 20:27). Unfaithfulness insults God. With Israel, He brought them out of the land of Egypt and listened to their complaining for forty years. Then He placed them in a good land, already set up with homes and businesses. They refused to follow His ways. Nevertheless, He continued to bless them. Yet, when they persisted on following idols and gave them credit for all these good things, they insulted Him.
Is it different today? When He saves people from sin and hell, and they do not remain faithful that insults Him greatly. It hurts Him also.
Let us therefore, be sure that we always remain loyal to Him regardless of what happens in life and regardless of whether we agree with His ways. Let us learn to accept everything about God, because we will not regret it once we meet Him face to face.
