The Divine and the Earthly

Read the Bible in a year by reading Hebrews 9 today.
Of the covenant made with Israel, the Hebrew writer said, “Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary” (Hebrews 9:1). That first covenant with Israel had very important things, including various ordinances of divine service, which were things that God wanted Israel to do as service to Him, and during that time period there was an earthly sanctuary. Yet, the second covenant, being greater, also has ordinances of divine service and a sanctuary in the heavens where Jesus our High Priest currently serves.
What Israel saw with the eye, symbolized what we actually have in the spirit. We cannot see them, but they are there just as much as the items of the first covenant were there.
Do you realize that someday we shall see those things?
