Jesus Was Faithful

Read the Bible in a year by reading Hebrews 3 today.
After stating that Jesus is our Apostle and High Priest, the writer of the Book of Hebrews said that, “[Jesus] was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house” (Hebrews 3:2). Right there the writer put Jesus on a level with Moses! In the next verse, the writer placed Jesus even above Moses. First, for Jesus to be on a level with Moses means that we should not disregard what Jesus commands, for the one who disregarded the words of Moses paid a heavy price. If Jesus is on a level with Moses, then that means there are serious consequences for disregarding the words of Jesus. Then when the writer goes even higher, showing that Jesus far greater than Moses, wow, we had really better heed the words and commands of our Lord.
Do you understand the exalted position of Jesus Christ over all people?
