In What Does God Delight?

Read the Bible in a year by reading Jeremiah 9 and 10 today.
The Lord said in Jeremiah 9:23 that a man should not glory in his wisdom, his might, or his riches. What then should we glory in? The Lord said further in the following verse,
“But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:24)
What God wants to see is whether I can be good to other people. Wisdom, might, and riches are good, but if I do not use them to make those around me better, then they are no good. Therefore, a man’s wisdom, might, and riches do not impress the Lord, but if a man has lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness that impresses the Lord. The latter benefit not only the possessor of them, but also those around him.
After what do you strive? Is it something in which you delight or the Lord delights?
