Good Works Cannot Be Hidden

Read the Bible in a year by reading First Timothy 5 today.
Those who truly want to do good works, do not care if anyone knows about the works, or rather who did the works. Yet, Paul said, “Likewise, the good works of some are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden” (1Timothy 5:25). That does not give us license to brag of our good deeds. Truly, we ought to seek to be hidden, letting the good works speak for themselves. Yes, the works will speak, saying who did them. Even if no one ever knows, God knows and He shall bless the worker of good.
