The Pain of Separation From God

Read the Bible in a year by reading Isaiah 59-61 today.
Nothing, in my judgment, surpasses the horror of the following words of Isaiah,
But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
And your sins have hidden His face from you,
So that He will not hear. (Isaiah 59:2)
What is worse than separation from God? Separation from Him means He does not hear or rather does not answer prayer. Jesus felt that separation for us on the cross, which is why He cried, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, and from the words of My groaning?”
If you are not a Christian, you are separated from God! Do not let that condition continue, especially into eternity. Turn to God now that He may remove the wedge of sin that you have driven between you and Him. The wedge is so large that only He can remove it.
