Be Silent, Then Speak

Read the Bible in a year by reading Isaiah 41 and 42 today.
Listen to God,
“Keep silence before Me, O coastlands,
And let the people renew their strength! Let them come near, then let them speak;
Let us come near together for judgment.” (Isaiah 41:1)
God wants to hear us, but He speaks first. He is God. He has that privilege. In His presence, first keep silence, renewing your strength in the process. Draw close to Him, and then you can speak. Do not be in a rush to tell God what you have to say, but be quick to hear what He says. When you hear Him, you will become stronger, enabling you to speak to the God of all creation.
