Has Someone Kept You From Obeying the Truth?

Read the Bible in a year by reading Galatians 3 today.
Paul asked the Galatians a good question because they had fallen from grace. He asked, “O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?” (Galatians 3:1). Think on that question. Through preaching, Paul laid before the eyes of the Galatians the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. After having seen that, someone came along and persuaded them to leave the good news of the crucifixion of God’s Son. That astonished Paul. How could the Galatians do such a thing? God had done everything possible to persuade people to live a certain
way. Yet, the Galatians turned their back on it.
What more could the Lord do in the Scriptures and in your life to persuade you to live in Christ? God allowed evil men to treat His Son shamefully that we might not receive such treatment as punishment for our sins. Think on the crucifixion and let it move you to live with the Lord forever.
