He Went, He Did, He Received

Read the Bible in a year by reading John 9:1-23 today.
How hard is it to receive blessings from God? Let me show you. A man was blind. Jesus spit on the ground, made mud, put it on the man’s eyes. John wrote further, “And He said to him, ‘Go, wash in the pool of Siloam’ (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing” (John 9:7). The man went. He washed his eyes as Jesus commanded. The man received his sight. Was that difficult? Was it complicated and hard to understand? Personally, it seems rather easy to me. The man was blind and could have argued that he should not be expected to go find the pool of Siloam and other excuses. But hey, the man
wanted to see. So, he managed to figure out a way to do what Jesus said. The result? The man could see.
Listen, if you need blessings from the God of heaven, just do what He commands you to do. It is that easy.
