Who Is Justified? Who Is Condemned?

Read the Bible in a year by reading Luke 18:1-17 today.
Who wants to be saved? Just as I thought, every single one of you does. Who wants to be lost? No surprises there, no one wants to be lost. Let us all make sure that we are justified before God by doing what Jesus showed in a parable.
A Pharisee boasted of his good deeds, but put down another man. That other man simply pled for mercy from God. Then Jesus said, “I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted” (Luke 18:14). The Pharisee exalted himself and for that he was not justified, and God later humbled him. The tax collector humbled himself and for that he was justified, and God later exalted him.
Do you understand now what to do to make sure that you are justified?
