Simple Trust

Read the Bible in a year by reading Luke 7:1-30 today.
Why do we worry and fret when there is a God above running the universe? Do we think to ourselves that running the universe is a huge job, much too great for Him to be noticing our worries and cares? God knows what troubles you. Trust Him to help you through it.
A Roman centurion had a servant close to death. The centurion sent messengers to Jesus to request a healing for the beloved servant. In the message, the centurion explained that he knew about authority, being under it himself and having others under him. He could give an order and it was carried out. Period. He knew that it was the same for Jesus, that He had great authority. Therefore, whatever He said to be would be. Luke then wrote, “When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that
followed Him, ‘I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!'” (Luke 7:9). This man simply trusted in the Lord. The man did not worry and fret, but put the matter in the Lord’s hand.
Do you think you can do that today? Just do it and see what happens.
