Do Not Be Afraid

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Luke 2:1-24 today.
An angel appeared to shepherds to announce to them that the Christ had been born. However, like any of us would be if we saw an angel, they were afraid. However, “the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people'” (Luke 2:10). It is interesting how we often respond to news with a negative expectation. We do the same if something new is introduced. Watch yourself today and see how often you do that. Then try to expect good things, as the angel wanted the shepherds to expect. See how it changes your outlook on life and people.
