Anointing and Consecrating

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Numbers 7 today.
Once the Tabernacle was completed, this is what Moses did, “Now it came to pass, when Moses had finished setting up the tabernacle, that he anointed it and consecrated it and all its furnishings, and the altar and all its utensils; so he anointed them and consecrated them” (Numbers 7:1). Ordinary things of the earth were used to put together the Tabernacle and all its furnishings, but then those things were used in the glorification of God. Therefore, Moses anointed and consecrated them.
Likewise, you are of the ordinary things of the earth, but you have given yourself to God that you might glorify Him. Therefore, you have to be anointed and consecrated by Him. You are anointed when you become a Christian, for that is what the word means. Have you been anointed so that you are consecrated for the work of glorifying God?
