Who Can Jesus Be?

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Mark 4 today.
Jesus and His disciples were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee. A violent storm arose and those experienced fishermen, just knew that they would perish. They awakened Jesus who had been sleeping. He rebuked the wind and calmed the sea, saying, “Peace, be still.” After rebuking them for their lack of faith, Mark wrote that this happened next, “And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, ‘Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!'” (Mark 4:41).
Picture yourself on that boat. See that you are about to be capsized, but with a word Jesus calms the storm. You wonder who He is that the wind and the sea obey Him. Yes, we quickly confess that He is the Son of God, the Lord of heaven and earth, because He is the Creator.
Can you think on that more today, asking yourself whether you realize fully just who Jesus is?
