What Happened to All the Blood?

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Leviticus 4-6 today.
Look at what the priests were to do with some of the blood with one of many sacrifices. Moses wrote, “Then the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, in front of the veil” (Leviticus 4:17). The priests must have sprinkled blood like this thousands, no, perhaps millions of times over fifteen centuries. Just daily, they would have sprinkled much blood in front of the veil and in other places. Yet, I do not recall reading where God instructed the priests to clean up the blood. Nor does the Bible say anything about the blood disappearing. What happened to all that blood?
We do not know and we do not have to worry about it. God took care of the problem.
Where is the blood of Christ today? It has gone the way of all blood of the earth. Yet, its power is still with us as much as it was the day it was shed, because forgiveness takes place in the heart of God based upon what His Son did at Calvary.
