Through Ahaziah’s visit to Joram, God brought about Ahaziah’s downfall.
2 Chronicles 22:7 NIV
God doesn’t need miracles in order to do his will and fulfill his purpose in the world. He uses common events and situations to walk history toward the end he desires.
While we wait on great events to happen, God works in our daily moments.
If we seek to honor him, he will make all things cooperate toward our good and to his glory.
But if, as in the case of King Ahaziah, we do what God disapproves of, he will use events in our life for our ruin.
Of this we can be sure: God works in our lives, and the result of his working depends upon our attitude toward him and our obedience or rejection of his will.
So be careful of that next visit.
Through daily events, God works his will.
