Regretting God's Answer to Prayer

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Exodus 16-18 today.
Israel made a big mistake. They had cried to God for a long time to be delivered from Egypt. Finally, He answered their endless prayers. Yet, once they were delivered and on the way to their new home, they were not happy with the accommodations. Therefore, they complained to Moses and Aaron. Here were there words, “Oh, that we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have
brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger” (Exodus 16:3).
God gave them what they wanted, then they complained about it! As I read this verse, I wondered whether I have done the same thing. I spoke to God about it, asking for His help in understanding my life and my attitudes toward my current situations. Then I asked for His forgiveness if I have been like Israel of old.
That was a healthy exercise for me. Do it yourself and purify yourself of ungrateful and complaining thoughts you have.
