The Intimacy of Our Father

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Matthew 6 today.
Jesus said that we must not use vain repetitions in prayer, explaining, “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him” (Matthew 6:8).
There are times that we know what someone is going to need before he even knows it, but that is only sometimes. The Father always knows what we need before we ask Him.
Dwell on that thought the rest of the day, understanding how intimate our Father is with us.
