Land of the Hebrews

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Genesis 38-40 today.
Joseph made an interesting reference to his homeland, saying, “For indeed I was stolen away from the land of the Hebrews; and also I have done nothing here that they should put me into the dungeon” (Genesis 40:15). Most of the time in the Bible, it was called the Land of Canaan. However, from God’s perspective, it was the Land of the Hebrews, at least in promise and Joseph did have a way of looking at things from God’s perspective. Moreover, it was his home, although he was actually a sojourner in it, even as he was a sojourner in the Land of Egypt.
Learn to look at everything in your life from God’s perspective, and you will probably start living your life differently. Watch to see the direction that your life takes when you gain this new perspective.
