Laughing at God's Work

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Genesis 20:1-21:21 today.
God had promised Abraham that even in his old age, he would have a son. Abraham was 99 at the time of the promise. Sure enough, a year later, when he was 100 years old, Abraham and Sarah had a son. Sarah laughed at first that they could possibly have children at their old ages. When it finally did happen, she laughed again, but this time her laughter was different. She said, “God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me” (Genesis 21:6).
This time she was laughing at the fulfillment of God’s promise. She did not think it could happen. When it did, she laughed. She had joy that came out in laughter. God likes to make us laugh.
Believe in Him and watch what He does in your life.
