Finding Favor in God's Sight

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Genesis 18 and 19 today.
God appeared to Abraham and said, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant” (Genesis 18:3). Of course, Abraham found favor in God’s sight. Yet, Abraham still spoke respectfully and lovingly to God. Abraham had God’s favor, but he sought God’s favor continually. Why would Abraham operate like that? God meant everything to him. When you love someone, you want him to continue to love you and so you do things to insure that you continue to have favor in his sight. So it was with Abraham toward God.
Where do you place your relationship with God? Is it number one? Are you fully dedicated to your relationship with Him? Let me encourage you to think on your relationship with Him today.
