Did We Teach the Hawk to Fly?

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Job 39 today.
Question: Did we teach the hawk to fly or did the hawk teach us to fly? Hawks do not mimic airplanes, but airplanes mimic hawks. God asked Job, “Does the hawk fly by your wisdom, and spread its wings toward the south?” (Job 39:26). Let’s think about that. Job thought that he knew more than God. In fact, many people think they know more than God. This is one of the reasons that many people turn their backs on Him. However, if we had to learn how to fly from the hawk, which is the creation of God, where does that put us in the order of things? In many
ways, it puts us below the hawk!
Watch a bird today, a hawk, if you can, and marvel at his abilities and know that he did not teach himself to fly, nor did man, but God taught him to fly. I think we do well to leave the running of our lives to the Lord. What do you think?
