It All Started Before the Beginning

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading First Peter 1:18-20; Ephesians 3:10, 11; Psalm 40:6-8; and Hebrews 10:5-10 today.
When did it all begin? Was it, “In the beginning,” that we find in Genesis 1:1? No, it all began before time was. That is about all that we can say, for we do not know of a time, since when we are dealing with eternity, we are not dealing with time. In Ephesians 3:11, Paul spoke of things that were, “according to the eternal purpose which [God] accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Ephesians 3:11).
The world, the church, and all of God’s plans revealed in the Scriptures were already in His mind when we start reading the opening verse of the Book of Genesis.
Stand still and be quiet, knowing that our God put all these things together from eternity! Do you understand the God we serve? Do you know who He is? Think on those things today!
