He Has Always Been

Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading John 1:1-3; First
Corinthians 8:6; Colossians 1:16, 17; Acts 17:24-29; Hebrews 11:1-3 today.
Did Jesus come to be when He was conceived in Mary or brought forth and placed in a manger, a feeding trough? No, He has always been and He shall forever be. Listen to this remarkable and magnificent declaration from John, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).
Later in the text, John shows us that the Word was Jesus Christ. In the beginning, Jesus already was. Not that He was created before the beginning of Genesis 1:1, but He already was because He has always been. That would mean that He was with God. Yet, if He was with God and in the beginning Jesus was there already, then it sounds as though we are saying that He is God. Well, yes, that is precisely what we are saying and that is how John ended His declaration. Jesus was before the beginning, because He is God.
Yes, He was a Man who walked the earth as we do, but let it sink into your mind today that He had the fullness of God when He lived as a Man.
