Mr. Enemy, Do Not Rejoice Over Me

Read the Bible in a year by reading Micah 7 and 8 today.
Here we are reading the Scriptures daily, meditating upon the powerful soul-changing truths of the word of God. Shall we ever fall? Yes, but not because the word of God is not strong enough, but we are weak and we stray from His word, then we stumble and fall. Our enemies will rejoice when that happens, but listen to the prophet Micah. He declared,
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy;
When I fall, I will arise;
When I sit in darkness,
The LORD will be a light to me.
(Micah 7:8)
Yes, we will fall, but we will arise. Yes, those who oppose the church will see us in darkness, but the Lord is our light and soon the darkness shall vanish away and we will stand tall again. Yes, we are weak, but the Lord is our strength and we will turn to Him again and be strong.
It is not a good idea to laugh at God’s people, because in time, they will have the last laugh.
