Is Jesus Honored and Glorified in Your Life?

Read the Bible in a year by reading Second Peter 1 today.
Peter declared boldly that he and his fellow-apostles did not make up the story of Jesus Christ, but they were all eyewitnesses of His majesty. Peter explained by saying,
For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (2Peter 1:17).
To announce that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He is Lord of lords and King of kings is not an exaggeration. Listen, Peter said, God the Father bestowed upon Jesus magnificent majesty, giving Him honor and glory, announcing to the world that Jesus is His beloved Son, and that the Father is well pleased in Jesus.
Such recognition cannot be surpassed. Who is higher than God the Father? What greater thing could He have said that would have exalted Jesus higher? How could Jesus be any higher?
Now, hear this. The One who made that announcement has also said that He will accept you as His son or daughter! Is there a greater honor that you could receive than that?
