It Is Important to Remember Our Beginnings

Read the Bible in a year by reading Ezekiel 16 and 17 today.
The Bible is filled with teachings that we need to remember our past, in that we need to remember from where we came and what we used to be. If we forget, we become arrogant and have no compassion on others who are what we used to be. That was the problem of Jerusalem revealed in Ezekiel 16. In fact, the Lord said the following to Jerusalem in verse 43,
“Because you did not remember the days of your youth, but agitated Me with all these things, surely I will also recompense your deeds on your own head,” says the Lord GOD. “And you shall not commit lewdness in addition to all your abominations” (Ezekiel 16:43).
Always remember your humble beginnings. Remember how you were living in sin and that God through Christ forgave you of everything. Remembering your beginnings will make you a spiritually healthy person.
