What God Wants From All Your Troubles

Read the Bible in a year by reading James 1 today.
We want everything to go smoothly, and we believe that God is there to make everything go the way we want. However, think about it. What does God want in your life? Consider this passage,
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience (James 1:2, 3).
God allows various trials in our lives, because He knows that it builds patience within us. We think that we will gain patience when there are no challenges before us. God knows differently. Smooth seas never made a skillful sailor.
Therefore, give James 1:2, 3 a try. Consider it all joy when many trials assault you. That joy comes easier when you realize that they are opportunities to grow your patience. God is more concerned that we have patience than He is with our lives running smoothly. Try it, friends. Watch how it changes the kind of person you are on the inside.
