The More Noahs, Daniels, and Jobs We Have, the Better

Read the Bible in a year by reading Ezekiel 14 and 15 today.
God was explaining what He would do to a land if it fell into wickedness and refused to repent, that He would, “stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it” (Ezekiel 14:13). He went on to say that He would do things,
“Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness,” says the Lord GOD (Ezekiel 14:14).
The nation would still suffer, even if those three men dwelt there, but those men would be spared. Yet, what if David, Abraham, Jeremiah, Paul, Peter, and James were there, along with many, many more righteous men and women? The more righteous people are in a land, the better for that land. Let us pray for more righteous people, and let each of us be those righteous people that our various nations need.
