?For I know the plans that I have for you,? declares the LORD, ?plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.? (Jer. 29:11)
Just as any parent loves and wants the very best for his children, so God wants the very best for all of us. We can be assured that God has made abundant plans to provide the very best for us.
God wants you to be saved (1 Tim. 2:3-4).
God wants you to come to know the truth and to be free from sin (John 8:31-32).
God want you to have the privilege of prayer (Matt. 7:7-11). His ear is always attentive to you.
God wants you to live sensibly, righteously, and godly in this present age (Tit. 2:11-14). He knows that righteous living will be a blessing to you.
God wants you to repent rather than to perish (2 Pet. 3:9). Repentance is God?s gift to help us erase the past and to start again fresh.
God wants you to have an abundant life (John 10:10). The abundant life is better than mere happiness. It has real, inner joy. God gives us every good thing (James 1:17).
God wants you to know how much He loves you (John 3:16: Romans 8:32, 37-39). There has never been even a moment in all your life that God ceased to love you.
God wants you to find peace (Phil. 4:6-9).
God wants you to have hope (Rom. 5:1-5). Hope does not disappoint.
God wants you to come home with Him forever (John 14:1-3). In fact, the Lord Jesus is right now preparing a place for you.
We have a God we can call Father, who wants to bless us and be a part of our daily lives. We only cheat ourselves if we push Him out. Let us draw near to the One who loved us enough to sacrifice His own Son for us.
