God of all desire,
I want what I want, but I discover it doesn’t satisfy.
I want what ‘they’ want, and learn they change their desires by the time it gets around to me.
I want what the image shows I want, but I can’t afford it.
I want what you want, and I find you want me.
I want you, and want you so badly, that nothing else will do.
Through him who never wanted anything but. Amen.
